Star's Gold Ringer "James Bond"
Just a little bit of information about James Bond. He was the kindest dog with a very playful side to him. He was exceptionally confident and all the dogs in my kennel looked up to him and respected him, without his needing to ask for it. When a girl came into heat she always ran to him...even if he wasn't going to sire the litter (and I only bred him to a handful of girls that were the right fit for him) It was something he just had inside of him, a "Je Ne Cais Quoi" quality.
He was a very "well balanced" dog. Being at the top of the suggested size for the breed, his head, bone, length of back...his total conformation was all balanced and that showed in his movement, as he never had a foot out of place. When he went around the ring he was the epitome of "all four off the floor".....he floated around the ring. He was like Fred Flinstone doing ballet and yet his sister and brother, who did not have his size, were more like a group of Clydes Dale horses, you could hear them and feel them shake the ground when they moved in the ring. Once JB obtained his AKC CH title at a year, he placed in or won in the Herding Group another 33 shows.
James Bond lived up to his name in every way and I'll be forever thankfrul for having had the opportunity to have him in my life. He taught me so much about the breed and he is truly missed every day. He was the most amazing dog I could have asked for, let alone have dreamed of ever breeding.
